During that time, I welcomed a remarkable array of guests—each with their own unique story. There was the renowned violinist from Nashville, a Google Earth photographer capturing the world, a widower from Ohio bravely starting anew, and so many others. Every encounter was a gift, enriching my life in ways I never anticipated. ✨
I took immense joy in making each stay special. From organizing surprise birthdays and hosting memorable family dinners to arranging a boat ride and picnic for a Gulf War soldier and his loved ones, I made it my mission to help guests experience the magic of Western NC.
Managing two homes eventually led me to transition into long-term rentals, including hosting an author who needed a quiet retreat to write his next book. This experience sparked a deep passion for helping renters—a group often overlooked by realtors.
After relocating to Sarasota, I crossed paths with Jerry, and together, we launched our real estate business. In the beginning, I focused on setting up consultations, sometimes managing up to five a day. My background in business development was invaluable, but the true reward came from helping renters transition into homeowners. 🏠
We’ve had the honor of helping families across the nation in finding rental homes and, eventually, purchasing them. But this journey hasn’t been without its challenges, especially when clients face emotional and financial transitions.
There have been times when we’ve taken on additional responsibilities to ensure our clients’ success. We’ve even personally covered costs in helping families close on their homes, like the time we paid for legal assistance for a woman in need—because it was simply the right thing to do.
